Connect dots Claim triangles

How to play
Triagones - connect 3 dots

Draw valid lines between dots, close triangles, and capture more triangles than your opponent.

Game objective

The goal of Triagones - connect 3 dots is simple: create and capture as many triangles as possible before the board runs out of valid moves.

A triangle is created when three dots are connected with three valid lines, forming a closed three-sided shape. The player who completes the triangle captures it.

1

Roll the dice

On your turn, roll the virtual dice. The number you roll shows how many lines you may draw.

2

Connect dots

Tap one dot, then another dot, to draw a line between them.

3

Make triangles

Close a shape using exactly three dots and three lines to capture a triangle.

4

Win by score

The player with the most captured triangles at the end of the game wins.

Valid lines

A line can be drawn only when all of the following conditions are true:

  • the two selected dots are not already connected;
  • the new line does not cross any existing line;
  • the new line does not pass through another dot;
  • the line is placed inside the playable board area;
  • the move follows the current game mode and board rules.
Important: Lines are allowed to meet only at their endpoints. They must not cross through other lines or pass through unrelated dots.

Capturing triangles

A triangle is captured when a player draws a line that closes a valid three-dot shape. The captured triangle is filled with that player’s color.

Only closed shapes with exactly three dots count. Larger polygons, open shapes, or shapes with crossed lines do not count as captured triangles.

Score rule: Each captured triangle gives the player 1 point. The total number of lines drawn does not determine the winner.

Turns and dice

Players take turns. At the beginning of a turn, the current player rolls the dice. The dice result becomes the number of lines available for that turn.

Example: if the player rolls a 6, the player may draw up to 6 valid lines during that turn. After the available lines are used, the turn passes to the next player.

Game modes

Offline play

Energy and rewarded ads

Triagones is free to play. Some game actions or modes may use energy. If energy is low, the player may be offered the option to watch a rewarded advertisement to restore or receive energy.

Rewarded ads are optional. The player chooses whether to watch them.

End of the game

The game ends when there are no more valid lines available on the board. The winner is the player with the most captured triangles.

  • If Player 1 has more triangles, Player 1 wins.
  • If Player 2 or the opponent has more triangles, Player 2/opponent wins.
  • If both players have the same number of triangles, the game ends in a draw.

Tips

  • Look for almost-complete triangles before drawing random lines.
  • Block your opponent by preventing easy triangle closures.
  • Use side branches carefully; they can create opportunities for future triangles.
  • Remember: the number of captured triangles matters, not the number of lines drawn.
